Kajsa Tylen, a 39 year old business analyst is planning to cycle 85 miles every day in 2016 to hit her 31,089 mile target.  Smashing the current Women’s Year Record for cycling the furthest distance in a year, equivalent to 35 journeys from Land’s End to John O’Groats. With the current record standing at 29, 603 miles, set by Billie Fleming in 1938.

Swedish born Kajsa has lived a pretty international life, moving to Africa when she was five and then moving the UK in 1989, where she is still living today.

Tylen’s team has predicted she will burn 1.4 million calories the equivalent of 4745 cinnamon buns, as she spends 2,190 hours in the saddle.
