Belper is a town and civil parish in the Amber Valley in Derbyshire, England. Belper's economy was traditonally reliant on manufacturing industry and numerous goods were made in the town. Cotton spinning and textile production were major employers. In 2014, Belper was presented 'The High Street Of The Year Award' for the market town category, as well as winning the award overall.
