Eddleston is a town in the borders of Scotland. Eddleston Water runs through the beautiful conservation village, only a few miles from Peebles. Although the village is small, it has a thriving community and is serviced by Eddleston Parish Church & Eddleston Village Hall. Clubs include the Eddleston Horticultural Society and Eddleston Curling Club and Carpet Bowling Club. The Horse Shoe Inn at Eddleston was once The Old Smiddy, medieval workshops & cottages, the Inn is decorated with relics from the smiddy and is now enjoyed by locals for food and drinks.
