Falstone
Falstone
Falstone is a small village in Northumberland, England. Falstone is nestled quietly in the North Tyne Valley just south of Keilder Water and Forest and above Bellingham. Although settlement here is catalogued at a more recent time, it is thought that due to medieval sculptures found within the Pennine-Cheviot uplands indicates Falstone’s history was that of a religious basis dating as far back as 1250 years. Within the area of the Northumberland National Park, Falstone attracts visitors who may be visiting the picturesque rural landscape, walking the hills and surrounding villages, Falstone Barns Holiday accommodation and the Falstone Pheasant Inn are ideally placed. Also here is the Falstone Border Shepherds Show, an annual celebration of traditional Northumberland life.
