Farlem
Farlam is a small village in Cumbria, England. Situated directly next to the market town of Brampton. The history of the village is that of coal mining and limestone quarrying and much of the population derived from the industry. Farlam – St Thomas of Becket’s Church is dated 1860 and displays a window by Clayton & Bell of Queen Victoria, kneeling, attended by an angel. Approximately 1 mile from here is the Hare & Hounds Inn and the Blacksmiths Arms Hotel at Talkin.
