Settle is a small market town within North Yorkshire, England. Settle, derived from the Anglo word settlement, is situated between the Yorkshire Dales, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the start point of the Settle – Carlisle Railway. The summit of Castle Crag offers a good view of the town but if you want to wonder further, Settle is the gateway to the three peaks of Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
