Wark is a small village in Northumberland, England. It is a short distance from the main town Hexham and is on the River Tyne. Wark was once part of Scotland and during the 13^th century, Scottish kings held court here. Visitors stop off at the popular Battlesteads Hotel & Restaurant and St Michaels Church.
