Warkworth is a village in Northumberland, England. The village of Warkworth, situated on a loop of the River Coquet, is dominated by three very significant landmarks. Warkworth Castle which features in Shakespeare’s Henry IV, Warkworth’s St Lawrence Church and Warkworth’s 14th century Hermitage which is only accessible by boat, the river then was crossed by medieval bridge which still stands along with the original Portal. From the Beach, a short walk away, you can see over to Coquet Island – RSVP reserve. Also here is Warkworth Golf Course.
