Warkworth is a village in Northumberland, England. The village of Warkworth, situated on a loop of the River Coquet, is dominated by three very significant landmarks. Warkworth Castle which features in Shakespeare’s Henry IV, Warkworth’s St Lawrence Church and Warkworth’s 14^th century Hermitage which is only accessible by boat, the river then was crossed by medieval bridge which still stands along with the original Portal.
