Whaley Bridge is a small town in the high Peak District of England. Only 7 miles south of Manchester it is known as the ‘Gateway to the Goyt Valley’ and it is at the edge of the Peak Forest Canal – the canal basin is a designated conservation area. Summer calendar is full, home to the Whaley Bridge Rose Queen Carnival, Whaley Water Weekend and Whaley Bridge Well Dressing which are both featured around Whaley Bridge Canal Basin.
